Children

Swan Bank has a very active children's ministry. We offer a weekly programme of activities all designed to introduce children to Jesus. We believe that you can meet with Jesus as a child and we work hard to create spaces where children can engage with Jesus through words, worship, work and play.

Our children's department is responsible for the ministries of the church specifically reaching those aged 0-11yrs.

As you explore the activities listed in this section you will be introduced to different people who lead the different children's groups. Each leader and volunteer working with children is CRB cleared and has been seen to show a calling to work with this age group.

Regular activities and upcoming events


JUNIOR CHURCH

Day: Sundays

Time: 10:30am - 12.00 noon
During our morning worship we have our junior church which caters for all ages.
 

LITTLE TREASURES

Day: Tuesdays (term time only)

Time: 9.30am - 11.30am

Area:

Aim: Little Treasures is a place for parents and children of pre-school age to get together, chat, get messy, play, and sing.

  
  SIGNPOSTS

Day: Tuesdays (term time only)

Time: 6.00pm - 7.30pm

Area:

Aim: Signposts is for anyone aged 7-11yrs and is a dance group which incorporates sign language in its performances. Signposts perform in our family worship and other mission events in the city. 50p per week.

  
LIGHTHOUSE

Day: Thursdays (term time only)

Time: 6.00pm - 7.30pm

Area:

Aim: Lighthouse is our midweek kids club for anyone aged 7-11yrs (Still of primary schol age). A place to introducing children to Jesus through play.
 Messy Church MESSY CHURCH

Day: Saturdays(first of the month)

Time: 10am-12:30pm

Aim: Messy Church does what it says on the tin. Lots of kids, lots of mess, introducing bible ideas and Jesus thoughts. Finishing with a simple lunch together.
